LMF is now PCNC certified!
Lingkod Muntinlupa Foundation (LMF) receives five hundred thousand pesos (500,000 php) from PTC-CSJ Foundation on Monday, February 17, 2020. This will support the foundation’s baseball and softball programs in Muntinlupa.
The project grant’s recipient schools are Bayanan Elementary School Main, Bayanan Elementary School Unit 1, Lakeview Integrated School, Sucat Elementary School Main, Muntinlupa Elementary School Main, and Alabang Elementary School. The amount will cover for the sports equipment and other significant incidentals needed by players ages five (5) to twelve (12) years old.
“We are happy that LMF is able to establish a cooperative and friendly working relationship with PTC-CSJ Foundation. With this project grant we shall be able to enhance the sports skills and values of Muntinlupa children,” said LMF President, Atty. Camille Alcaraz.
LMF has been an active mover in the Barangay Grassroots Baseball Program in Muntinlupa, enabling young athletes to continue their education while competing locally and worldwide.
The Muntinlupa Care Card Plus or MCC Plus, a smartcard and PayMaya VISA debit card in one, dubbed as the most advanced LGU card in the country, was recently launched by Muntinlupa Mayor Jimmy R. Fresnedi.
The MCC Plus is an upgraded version of the Muntinlupa Care Card, a card exclusive for Muntinlupa residents that can be used to access the local government’s services, that pioneered the use of smartcard technology among local government units in the country in 2015. The Muntinliupa Care Card program is a public private partnership between the City Government of Muntinlupa and Lingkod Muntinlupa Foundation.
Presently, the MCC program has over 200,000 cardholders and with the partnership with PayMaya, the renewed MCC Plus would bring more benefits and convenience to Muntinlupa residents. It is estimated that the program would attract more residents to apply and have 300,000 cardholders by year-end.
“We are proud to launch the MCC Plus today, the country’s most advanced LGU card that will bring convenience and new benefits to our constituents. We hope that through this project, we will open a whole new world of opportunities for our constituents,” said Fresnedi.
MCC Plus cardholders can enjoy an array of exclusive benefits including: free ride to the award winning e-JRF (Electronic Jeepney Ride for Free), use of the card as an acceptable ID in Muntinlupa, accidental death and burial financial assistance, chance to win in monthly raffles, and easy access to services of the city government including hospital subsidy at the local health institution Ospital ng Muntinlupa, scholarship, job recruitment and other city programs.
Moreover, as the MCC Plus also uses the technology of PayMaya VISA prepaid payment card, MCC Plus can be used for online shopping, to pay bills, send remittance or load, and pay in any store accepting VISA payments all around the world.
Furthermore, MCC Plus has its own mobile app, the YAM (Your App in Muntinlupa/ Yan ang Muntinlupa) which would give cardholders special access to earn points for every transaction in partner establishments around the city. Other features of the app include news, travel guide, emergency lines, feedback and job application.
There are three kinds of MCC Plus: Red Card for senior citizens, Yellow Card for ages 18 to 59, and Blue Card for 6 to 17 years old.
To register for the MCC Plus, Muntinlupa residents simply have to go to the registration centers at the City Hall or the Ospital ng Muntinlupa, present one valid ID and pay the card registration fee of P60 for Red Card, P80 for Yellow Card and P75 for Blue Card. For Blue Card application, the parent or guardian must enroll the minor applicant. Card membership is valid for four years, after which the card must be renewed yearly for only P50. Renewal is free for senior citizens and PWD.

On May 17, 2017, the City Government of Muntinlupa and Lingkod Muntinlupa Foundation’s (LMF) e-Jeepney partnership won the Customer Experience Award during the Union Internationale des Transports Publics (UITP) Global Transport Awards 2017 in Montreal, Canada.
The award was received during the awards night by Atty. Nestle Lizardo-Chan, LMF Trustee and Legal Counsel, and was presented to Mayor Jaime Fresnedi and city councilors by Grace Salvador, LMF Program Director, last May 22, 2017 at the Muntinlupa City Hall Quadrangle.
Muntinlupa’s e-Jeepney program bested more than 240 entries from 40 countries and was recognized as among the most successful, ambitious, innovative and transferable public transport program in the world.

Other finalists included in the same category are from France, United Kingdom, and Oman. Muntinlupa’s e-jeepney program is the only finalist from the Philippines.
The UITP is an event held every two years that highlight successful projects implemented around the world that place public transport at the heart of urban and local mobility system. The UITP Awards will be held in Montreal, Canada on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

In the spirit of the holiday season, LMF in partnership with the City Government of Muntinlupa, awarded Jollibee gift certificates worth P500 to 100 lucky winners of the YanYan Komiks and Muntinlupa Care Card Christmas Raffle.
Awarding was held simultaneously in all public elementary schools of Muntinlupa last December 19, 2016. All prizes were made possible through the generosity of Mayor Jimmy R. Fresnedi and sponsorship of the newly opened Jollibee in South Park Mall, National Road, Alabang.
All raffle participants who has a valid Muntinlupa Care Card will also receive a gift certificate of 1 Jolly Spaghetti Meal. Those who participated in the raffle but had an expired or invalid Muntinlupa Care Card will no longer be disqualified, as stated in the contest mechanics, as they too will receive a gift certificate of 1 Sundae Ice Cream.

IMPROVED MUNTINLUPA CARE CARD BENEFITS IN 2017
Muntinlpa Care Card holders will have a more rewarding experience as they can expect more benefits coming on 2017. Among the new benefits is a monthly birthday raffle, a free reloadable VISA card, and exclusive promos from private partners.
All of these on top of the current benefits such as the free ride to the Electronic Jeepney Ride for Free (e-JRF), faster processing of OsMun subsidy, and accident financial assistance up to P10,000.
Renewal of the MCC will also be FREE starting January 2017 if the accident financial assistance will not be renewed. If the card holder would like to extend the accident financial assistance benefit, there is a minimal renewal fee of P20.
FREE Churros for 2,000 MCC card holders
On December 19, 2016, Alabang Town Center gave a special treat to 2,000 Muntinlupa Care Card holders by giving free La Maripili Churros con Chocolate. MCC holders simply presented their MCC card to get their free churros. The ATC promo commemorates the upcoming Centennial celebration of Muntinlupa City.
